Camp Network partners with Japan's Minto Inc. to launch a global IP co-creation initiative, promoting the upgrade of on-chain authorization and creator monetization mechanisms

Camp Network is a decentralized platform aimed at advancing the future of IP and AI. Today, it launched an initiative inviting traditional Web2 and AI creators to co-create with Minto, one of Japan's largest IP creation companies, whose stickers have been downloaded over 5 billion times across platforms like LINE and WeChat.

The current IP licensing environment fails to meet the needs of creators. Most licensing transactions either rely on traditional contracts managed by agents or lack any formal structure altogether, especially for new creators. This process is often highly manual, involving salespeople, lawyers, and account managers, making it costly and complex to the point where smaller transactions often become commercially unviable and ultimately unfeasible. If a deal can be reached, the completion process typically takes 12 to 24 months or more. Camp Network redefines the Web2 licensing process by simplifying compliance and monetization frameworks on-chain, achieving significant efficiencies in time, resources, and costs.

This global initiative invites traditional Web2 creators and AI creators to co-create and remix one of Minto's top IPs, "Mimi and Cat." Winning IP submissions will have the opportunity to monetize across multiple digital and e-commerce channels.

Camp Network collaborates with Minto to ensure that the winners of the initiative, known as the "Camp Creative Community," will receive royalty income from all transactions made through this collaboration, showcasing the transparent, fair, and creator-centric philosophy of blockchain-based IP licensing.

Building on Camp Network's recently launched Origin and mAItrix frameworks, this initiative lays the groundwork for future expansions in the IP and AI space, with plans to add additional channels such as physical merchandise and apparel following initial digital distribution.
