Former BlackRock Digital Assets Strategy Head Joseph Chalom joins SharpLink as Co-CEO

ChainCatcher news, former BlackRock Digital Assets Strategy Head Joseph Chalom announced on social media that he has concluded his 20-year career at BlackRock and officially joined SharpLink Gaming as Co-CEO.

During his time at BlackRock, Joseph Chalom assisted in launching the world's largest Bitcoin ETP (IBIT), Ethereum ETP (ETHA), and Ethereum-based tokenized fund (BUIDL), successfully bridging traditional finance and crypto assets.

He stated that he will activate the company's ETH reserves, enhancing the value of the treasury through native staking, re-staking, and Ethereum yield strategies, ultimately converting it into long-term shareholder returns. SharpLink Gaming will become a compliant channel for institutional capital to access Ethereum's native yields.

It is reported that Joseph graduated from Johns Hopkins University (Bachelor of Arts in International Relations) and Columbia Law School (Juris Doctor).
