UK Financial Conduct Authority: The ban on retail customers participating in cryptocurrency derivatives trading remains in effect

ChainCatcher news, according to Zhitong Finance, the UK's financial regulatory body, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), previously announced that it would open up cryptocurrency ETN trading for retail investors. However, the agency clarified that the ban on retail clients participating in cryptocurrency derivatives trading will remain in effect, while it will continue to monitor market developments and consider its approach to high-risk investments.
