According to the official announcement, Binance Alpha will launch and open trading for INFINIT (IN) on August 7, 2025, at 17:00 (UTC+8).

In addition, the Binance contract platform will launch the INUSDT perpetual contract on August 7, 2025, at 18:30 (UTC+8), with a maximum leverage of up to 50 times.

Binance Alpha: The threshold for participating in the first phase of the TOWNS airdrop is 230 Alpha points

According to the official announcement, the Binance Alpha platform will launch TOWNS (TOWNS) trading and start the airdrop event on August 5, 2025, at 20:30 (Beijing time).

Eligible users can claim 1359 TOWNS tokens using Binance Alpha points on the Alpha Events page within 24 hours after trading begins.

The airdrop will be conducted in two phases: the first phase (the first 18 hours) requires at least 230 points; the second phase (the last 6 hours) requires at least 200 points, and if not fully distributed, the point threshold will automatically decrease by 15 points every hour.

According to the official announcement, users holding at least 200 Binance Alpha points can participate in the airdrop of 500 SUP tokens on the Alpha Events page, with a first-come, first-served mechanism. If the reward pool is not fully distributed, the point threshold will automatically decrease by 15 points every hour until the airdrop is fully allocated.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has updated its staff guidance on accounting rules for stablecoins. The core content of the new guidance is that if a stablecoin pegged to the U.S. dollar has a guaranteed redemption mechanism and its value stability is linked to another type of asset, it may be classified as a "cash equivalent."

While the SEC is formulating broader cryptocurrency regulatory rules, this latest temporary guidance is part of Chairman Paul Atkins' push to lift restrictive measures. For example, in April of this year, the SEC explicitly stated that "covered" U.S. dollar stablecoins are not considered securities and confirmed that entities engaged in the issuance and redemption of stablecoins do not need to register with the agency for such activities.
