Solomon Brothers: The process of notifying "abandoned" Bitcoin wallet holders has been completed

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the revived investment bank Solomon Brothers has announced that it has completed the process of inserting OP_Return notifications into Bitcoin wallets considered "abandoned," reminding holders to claim their assets as soon as possible.

The company has sent notifications to some notable addresses, such as the "1 Feex" wallet holding 80,000 BTC. Solomon Brothers stated that its anonymous client plans to establish a special fund to assist wallet holders who have lost their private keys, with further details to be announced in the coming months.

The notification gives wallet holders a 90-day deadline to claim their wallets either by transferring funds or filling out a form. Some users have responded to the notification and migrated their assets to new addresses.
