UBS raises S&P 500 index target, expects a decline in 2025
ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, UBS strategist Bhanu Baweja has raised the target level for the S&P 500 index at the end of 2025 to 6,100 points, and set the target level for 2026 at 6,800 points.
Despite the strong performance of the U.S. economy and corporations, and the easing of tariff risks, UBS expects that due to a slowdown in economic growth, the index will be below the current level by the end of 2025, before recovering by the end of 2026.
