Galaxy Digital appoints senior legal executive Matt Friedrich as Chief Legal Officer

ChainCatcher news, according to Prnewswire, Galaxy Digital announced the appointment of Matt Friedrich as the new Chief Legal Officer, effective September 8. Friedrich will be responsible for global legal and compliance matters and will report to CEO Mike Novogratz.

He previously held executive positions at Cognizant and Chevron and has 13 years of experience as a prosecutor in the U.S. Justice Department. Former General Counsel Andrew Siegel, who served from 2017 to present, is stepping down and was instrumental in the company's NASDAQ listing.
