Robinhood CEO: If a "doomsday" level disaster occurs, he will rebuild the company with 150 outstanding employees

ChainCatcher news, in the Wednesday episode of the podcast "Cheeky Pint," Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev stated that he has built a community of elites from various departments within the company to ensure he interacts with more than just his direct reports.

"When I bring someone into this community, I usually say something like this," he said, "If a disaster or some sort of apocalypse happens, and we have to rebuild Robinhood with 150 people, you will be on that list."

Tenev co-founded Robinhood in 2013. He mentioned that this founder community was initially focused on compensation, aimed at allocating budgets to the top performers. But now, it has evolved into a "real community" within the stock trading company. "I review the latest strategies or visions with them, bringing these people together to hear their feedback," he said, "We hold events, with gatherings in every city, bringing them together for dinner."
