Data: The ChatGPT mobile application has generated $2 billion in revenue

ChainCatcher news, recently, the latest analysis from the app intelligence provider Appfigures shows that since its launch in May 2023, the ChatGPT iOS and Android apps have generated $2 billion in revenue globally.

The analysis indicates that this figure is approximately 30 times the total revenue of ChatGPT's competitors (including Claude, Copilot, and Grok) in the mobile sector.

Data shows that so far this year, the ChatGPT mobile app has achieved revenue of $1.35 billion, a 673% increase compared to $174 million during the same period in 2024 (January to July). The app's average monthly revenue is nearly $193 million, up from $25 million last year.
