ChainCatcher news, according to Coinness, Zhao Changpeng stated: "Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) is outdated. In contrast, stablecoins are receiving more attention." He added during a session at the WebX conference held in Tokyo, Japan on the 25th: "Most stablecoins are backed by physical collateral and have high trading volumes, thus they have a higher market acceptance. On the other hand, CBDCs were experimented with in some countries from 2013 to 2014, but gradually faded away due to insufficient demand, and there are currently very few cases in use. Recently, China's regulatory attitude towards stablecoins is gradually shifting from strict to more open, and Hong Kong is also actively developing a stablecoin ecosystem."
