The number of ETH queued to exit the Ethereum PoS network has surpassed 1 million, setting a new historical record

ChainCatcher news, according to the validator queue tracking website validatorqueue data, the current exit queue of the Ethereum PoS network has risen to 1,012,296 ETH, worth approximately $4.666 billion, with withdrawal delays extended to 17 days and 14 hours.

Meanwhile, there are about 581,233 ETH waiting to join the network. Previous reports indicate that this situation reflects two opposing forces in the market: on one hand, some stakers may choose to cash out after a significant rise since the April low, leading to a surge in the exit queue; on the other hand, new deposits driven by regulatory benefits and institutional demand are also pushing up the entry queue, as publicly traded companies like SharpLink Gaming and BitMine Immersion increase their holdings of ETH and stake it.
