As of Wednesday, traders betting on whether Bitcoin will drop below $100,000 this year believe there is a 61% chance of it happening. This figure is slightly lower than Monday's prediction, when 72% of bettors forecasted that Bitcoin's trading price would fall below $100,000 again this year.

Presto research analyst Min Jung stated, "So far, the massive sell-off by whales and long-term holders has been met with sufficient buying demand—especially from corporate bonds and institutional allocators. However, if these large holders start to close their positions more aggressively, the key question is whether there are enough new entrants to absorb this supply. If demand fails to keep pace, a drop below $100,000 becomes more likely." 21Shares cryptocurrency investment expert David Hernandez remarked, "The sell-off of Bitcoin is a sign of the market maturing. Ironically, while a significant pullback may dampen short-term enthusiasm, it could also catalyze a healthier market by redistributing supply from concentrated whales and corporations to a broader base of retail and institutional investors, ultimately strengthening Bitcoin's long-term fundamentals."
