The National Natural Science Foundation of China has released research topics related to stablecoins

It states that stablecoins, as digital assets aimed at anchoring the value of fiat currencies or specific assets, have become a core bridge connecting traditional finance and the crypto ecosystem due to their potential for high cross-border liquidity. Their scale and influence pose profound challenges to the current international monetary system and global financial regulatory framework.
