ChainCatcher news, according to an interview with the Seoul Economic Daily, former National Assembly Secretary General and distinguished professor at Myongji University Lee Kwang-jae stated that it is necessary to ensure that the won-denominated stablecoin can be traded on global exchanges such as Binance and Coinbase, and to allow foreign investors to participate on local platforms like Upbit and Bithumb to enhance international usability. He also claimed that Samsung may issue a stablecoin in the future and integrate it into the payment system.
