ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, the Ethereum Foundation will establish a "DAI" team to promote on-chain AI development. The team aims to make Ethereum the preferred settlement and coordination layer for AI and machine economies.

Team leader Davide Crapis stated that he believes Ethereum can serve not only a sci-fi future but also has practical value for today's AI developers. Therefore, we will work closely with ecological projects to accelerate research and innovation at the intersection of AI and blockchain, connecting two long-parallel technological communities. The team will collaborate with the EF protocol group and ecological group to combine protocol upgrades with the needs of AI builders and fund innovative public goods that can make Ethereum the best home for AI.

It is reported that Davide Crapis is a research scientist at the Ethereum Foundation. As a core developer of Ethereum, he led the ERC-8004 proposal (also known as "Trustless Agents"), which is an Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) providing a trustless interaction standard for AI agents, allowing AI agents to discover, verify, and trade without intermediaries, supporting on-chain registration of identity, reputation, and verification.
