ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren and others have written to the Department of Justice, requesting confirmation of whether the cryptocurrency exchange Binance is complying with the anti-money laundering and sanctions violation settlement agreement reached with the U.S. side.

The letter pointed out that the Department of Justice had previously only confirmed that Binance had paid all fines, but did not specify whether it had fulfilled its ongoing compliance obligations. The lawmakers also expressed concern about the Department of Justice considering the removal of compliance monitors and the connections between Binance and businesses related to the Trump family.
