WisdomTree acquires Ceres Partners to expand into the custody and tokenization market

ChainCatcher news, according to Businesswire, cryptocurrency ETF issuer WisdomTree has announced the completion of its acquisition of alternative asset management firm Ceres Partners. This transaction will expand its business into the exchange-traded products (ETP), custody, and tokenization market sectors. The acquisition amount includes $275 million in cash paid at the closing of the transaction and up to $225 million in earnouts.

This acquisition will further enhance WisdomTree's market position in the cryptocurrency asset space.
