Former PayPal President: If Bitcoin's value equals that of gold, a price exceeding seven figures is just a matter of time
ChainCatcher news, former PayPal president and co-founder and CEO of Lightspark David Marcus posted on the X platform, reminding the community to pay attention: if the value of Bitcoin equals that of gold, then the price of 1 Bitcoin could reach $1.3 million. Nowadays, Bitcoin has become a better store of value, and its payment utility has yet to be factored into the price; breaking the 7-digit price is just a matter of time.
It is reported that the recent historical highs in the prices of gold and Bitcoin may be driven by the ongoing U.S. government shutdown and expectations of interest rate cuts.
