A certain Hyperliquid whale's private key is suspected to have been stolen, resulting in a loss of over 20 million dollars

ChainCatcher news, according to market news, a certain Hyperliquid whale wallet closed a long position worth $160 million in HYPE about 11 hours ago and sold 100,000 HYPE (approximately $44 million). The reason seems to be that its private key was leaked, resulting in the account being completely emptied: approximately $170 million in funds were stolen from its Hyperliquid account; another approximately $31 million in assets deposited in the Plasma Syrup Vault (liquidity pool) were also stolen.

After the attack, the "hacker" transferred all the stolen assets, exchanged the stolen USDC for DAI, and transferred it to two new wallets, where the funds remain: the hacker also transferred $31.1 million worth of MSYRUPUSDP to another new wallet.
