Analyst MLM: Selling over $4.23 billion in BTC to switch to ETH, the credibility of the whale Garrett Jin is relatively high, but there are still doubts

ChainCatcher message, on-chain analyst MLM pointed out in a personal channel that the whale who sold over $4.23 billion in BTC to swap for ETH is Garrett Jin, who has a relatively high credibility. However, there are some questions raised about this, including: why did Garrett expose his identity through an ENS domain; why did CZ personally post to verify the authenticity, as he used Binance, which should have KYC information available; and why can a "worker" possess billions in BTC assets.

It is reported that a community user previously referred to Garrett Jin as one of the "culprits of the 1011 crash." In August and September of this year, this whale sold over 35,000 BTC to swap for ETH using a series of wallets and also engaged in BTC short selling. As of now, Garrett Jin still holds 46,295 BTC across multiple wallet addresses, worth $5.19 billion.
