Coinbase launches USDC stablecoin enterprise payment tool, supporting global instant settlement and low-fee transactions

According to ChainCatcher, as reported by Crowdfund Insider, Coinbase has announced that its enterprise services division has launched two new features—Global Payouts and Payment Links—allowing businesses to send and receive payments in USDC stablecoin, achieving instant settlement, low transaction fees, and frictionless cross-border payments.

Coinbase stated that traditional business-to-business (B2B) payments face issues such as high costs, slow settlement, and cross-border friction. The new tools aim to simplify the vendor payment process, eliminate chargeback risks, and provide API integration to support automated bulk payments. Businesses can send USDC using their platform balance or linked bank accounts, and recipients can either receive it directly or create a Coinbase account via email to access the funds.

Additionally, merchants can generate shareable USDC payment links, allowing customers to pay instantly using wallets like Base, MetaMask, or Phantom, without any network fees. The USDC balance in the business account will automatically count towards the USDC rewards program, which currently offers an annual yield of 4.1%, and can be withdrawn to a bank account at any time.

Coinbase claims that this solution provides global businesses with a low-cost, high-efficiency, and compliant digital payment solution.
