The proponents of the bill aim to address an increasingly prominent issue, as more and more Russians choose to invest in cryptocurrency, leading to a growing number of related problems. The draft law was introduced by Igor Antropenko, a member of the Industry and Trade Committee representing the ruling party United Russia.
