BlackRock CEO: Investors flock to cryptocurrencies and gold due to concerns over asset depreciation
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink stated that investors are turning to gold and cryptocurrencies due to concerns that their assets may depreciate amid increasing attention to global financial stability.
Fink said at the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference in Saudi Arabia, "Holding crypto assets or gold is a fear-based asset." He added, "You hold these assets because you are afraid of asset depreciation."
