Kiyosaki said, "When his friends look at their accounts, they only focus on the hundreds of thousands of dollars lost, while ignoring the millions of dollars gained. He believes this psychological difference is the key distinction between the rich and the poor and middle class, which he calls emotional intelligence (EQ). The reason the poor and middle class remain poor is that their fear of failure outweighs their desire for success; emotional intelligence is more important than IQ in the world of money.
