Jia Nan Technology has obtained a contract for 4.5MW Bitcoin mining machines in Japan, used for real-time frequency regulation of the power grid
According to Bitcoin News, Canaan Inc. announced the signing of a 4.5MW contract in Japan to deploy Avalon water-cooled Bitcoin mining machines for real-time grid load balancing and energy optimization.
The facility, led by a large regional utility, will use Canaan's smart control chips to dynamically adjust voltage, frequency, and hashrate to stabilize the grid and enhance efficiency, with an expected operational date by the end of 2025.
