Zcash developers release Q4 roadmap: focusing on privacy features and Zashi wallet improvements
Electric Coin Company (ECC) has released its Q4 2025 roadmap, focusing on reducing technical debt, improving Zashi user privacy and usability, and ensuring smooth management of the development fund.
Key priorities in the roadmap include:
- Temporary Transparent Address Feature: Generates a new temporary transparent address for each ZEC exchange through NEAR Intents to enhance privacy and reduce transaction linkability.
- Transparent Address Rotation Feature: Automatically generates a new transparent address whenever the previous address receives funds.
- Keystone Resync and Disconnect Feature: Allows Zashi-Keystone users to unlink and resync their Keystone devices.
- P2SH Multisignature Support in Keystone: Used to protect the management of Zcash development fund resources.
ECC states that the roadmap is intended to be guiding rather than fixed, and will be flexibly adjusted based on market conditions and revenue changes. The company updates the roadmap quarterly and invites Zcash community developers to participate in planning twice a year.
