Lechang Court concluded the case of fraud involving virtual currency "Killing Foreign Plates," with the criminals sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment and fined

The People's Court of Lechang City, Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, has concluded a foreign-related fraud case. The criminals, after gaining the victim's trust, guided the victim to invest in virtual currency on a fraudulent platform, thereby defrauding the victim of their property. The Lechang Court sentenced the criminals to fixed-term imprisonment ranging from eight months to six months and imposed fines.

The judge reminds that the so-called "only defrauding foreigners" is by no means a legal exemption. Overseas is not a lawless land, and one should not easily believe the fallacy that "defrauding foreigners is not a crime."
