Data: A certain whale continues to short BTC profitably, with funding fee earnings reaching 8.77 million USD

According to on-chain analyst Ai Yi (@ai 9684xtpa), a whale trader who has shorted Bitcoin four times since March 2025 has profited again, currently holding a short position of 1,231.98 BTC, worth approximately 12.4 million USD, with an average opening price of 111,499.3 USD.

Although the trader increased their position multiple times between October 24 and 28, their position has returned to profitability as Bitcoin's price fell on November 3. Notably, the trader has earned over 8.77 million USD just from funding fees.
