According to CoinDesk, sources say that the cryptocurrency hedge fund Lantern Ventures is returning funds to external investors and has currently stopped accepting new investments, potentially facing dissolution.
It is reported that the company is looking for buyers or considering a rebranding as a family office. At its peak, Lantern Ventures managed assets of about $600 million and was founded by some former members of Sam Bankman-Fried's Alameda Research. Currently, several employees of the hedge fund may face unemployment.
