Monad co-founder Keone Hon posted on social media, stating that as the public mainnet is about to launch, he would like to share an important principle in the design of the Monad token economy: locked MON tokens will not be eligible for staking. This will help Monad achieve long-term success through healthier token distribution. When the Monad network goes live, it will have 200 validator nodes distributed globally, running on consumer-grade hardware.
