According to The Block, Ethereum founder Vitalik showcased the privacy-preserving encryption tool "Kohaku" at Devcon, aimed at enhancing the privacy and security of the Ethereum ecosystem.

Kohaku is an open-source initiative designed to improve on-chain privacy and security. It offers a modular framework composed of foundational components, allowing developers to build more secure, privacy-focused wallets without relying on centralized third parties. In the future, it may also expand to include network-level anonymity tools such as mixed networks and browser technologies driven by zero-knowledge (ZK) techniques. At the Ethereum CryptoPunk Conference, Vitalik emphasized that Ethereum is on a "privacy upgrade path," with the goal of providing "privacy and security that are truly applicable to the real world."
