In March 2024, Liu and Li established a fraud gang in Yuhua District, with clear divisions of labor: 8 salespeople disguised as "financial elite women" sought foreign male targets on overseas social platforms, using emotional fraud tactics to lure victims into investing in virtual currencies on a fake platform.
