Base launches Solana cross-chain bridge, achieving bidirectional asset interoperability

The Ethereum L2 network Base, incubated by Coinbase, has launched a cross-chain bridge connecting Solana, supporting the native use of Solana assets on Base, and allowing the migration of Base assets to Solana.

The bridge is supported by Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and ensures security through dual verification of messages by Coinbase and Chainlink nodes.
