CoinShares' latest report shows that the tokenized real-world assets (RWA) market is expected to grow significantly by 229% in the 2020s, with this trend anticipated to continue into 2026. U.S. Treasury bonds are the main driver of this growth, increasing from $3.91 billion to $8.68 billion this year, with the Ethereum network dominating.

CoinShares analysts state that tokenization has evolved from a niche experiment to a mainstream financial practice, attracting attention from formal financial institutions and regulators. The company predicts that global demand for dollar yields will continue to drive the growth of tokenized government bonds, while settlement, issuance, and distribution will further shift towards blockchain technology.
