The Kingdom of Bhutan launches gold-backed token TER based on Solana

2025-12-11 10:02:45

According to CoinDesk, the Kingdom of Bhutan has launched a sovereign-backed gold-backed token called TER, which is issued by Grelp Mind City and custodied by DK Bank.

The TER token is built on the Solana blockchain, providing international investors with a digital representation of physical gold, featuring on-chain transparency and global transferability. The token aims to serve as a new bridge between traditional value storage and blockchain-based finance, allowing investors to directly acquire TER tokens through Bhutan's first licensed digital bank, DK Bank.
