The Belarusian government has blocked access to at least three major cryptocurrency exchanges
According to DL News, the Ministry of Information of Belarus has blocked access to at least three major cryptocurrency exchanges, namely Bybit, Bitget, and OKX, but the ministry has not explained its reasons. When Belarusian users attempt to access these sites, a message appears stating: "Access to this information resource is restricted based on the decision of the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus. This is taken in accordance with the Law on Mass Media."
A search of the "restricted access" website database of the Belarusian telecommunications regulator shows that these three exchanges were blacklisted by the ministry on December 10. Meanwhile, the URLs of other cryptocurrency exchanges such as KuCoin and Binance are currently not blacklisted.
