The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has approved Paxos to become a regulated blockchain infrastructure provider

Paxos announced that the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has approved it to become a regulated blockchain infrastructure provider and will convert into a regulated national trust institution. Its business activities in the United States will be regulated by the OCC, including providing support to businesses at various stages of digital asset development and offering services and compliance assurance across all 50 states.
