Gnosis Chain plans to recover the stolen funds from the Balancer incident through a hard fork

Gnosis Chain announced that its operator community has decided to execute a hard fork to recover the funds lost in the Balancer vulnerability incident. Currently, these funds are no longer under the control of the hacker.

Previously, Gnosis stated that it had collaborated with the Monerium and Balancer teams to freeze part of the affected liquidity pools and temporarily restricted operations for transferring assets out of the Gnosis chain via the standard bridge. The Gnosis team will continue to work with ecosystem partners and reminds the remaining node operators to take action to avoid penalties.
