Binance updates the settlement frequency of funding rates for U-Margined Perpetual Contracts

According to official news, starting from January 2, 2026, at 20:00, if the absolute value of the funding rate for the USDⓈ-M perpetual contract settles every hour for 16 consecutive periods is less than or equal to 0.025%, then from the 17th period onwards, the funding rate settlement frequency for that contract will revert from every hour to every four hours. Binance contracts will complete the adjustment within approximately 15 minutes after the conditions are met. The payment times for the funding rate settled every four hours are at 8:00, 12:00, 16:00, 20:00, 0:00, and 4:00 daily. API users can query relevant information through the GET /fapi/v1/fundingInfo interface.
