Cyvers: Multiple suspicious transactions occurred on the ARB network, approximately 1.5 million dollars were stolen

2026-01-05 17:13:41

Cyvers announced the detection of multiple suspicious transactions on the ARB network, involving a proxy contract, resulting in a loss of approximately $1.5 million.

Preliminary analysis indicates that a single deployer of the USDGambit and TLP projects may have lost access to their account, after which the attacker deployed a new contract and updated the ProxyAdmin permissions to take control of the account. The stolen funds were then transferred to the ETH network and deposited into TornadoCash.
