U.S. stocks opened, with the Dow down 0.3%, and defense stocks rising broadly

According to Jinshi reports, U.S. stocks opened with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.3%, the S&P 500 down 0.05%, and the Nasdaq Composite down 0.12%. Defense stocks generally rose, with Lockheed Martin (LMT.N) up 6.66% and Raytheon Technologies (RTX.N) up 2.55%. Trump plans to increase the 2027 defense budget by 50% to $1.5 trillion. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index fell 0.37%.
