Sky has removed the Spark (SPK) token rewards for staking SKY tokens. The Sky official account posted on X that this move will reduce SPK emissions by approximately 30%. Combined with the proposed updates to the Spark buyback parameters, these adjustments are expected to reduce SPK net emissions by 40%.

Based on current net income and SPK prices, this amounts to a reduction of approximately $23 million in emissions over the next 12 months.
