The Central Bank of El Salvador spent 50 million dollars to purchase gold, increasing the total value of gold holdings to 360 million dollars
The Central Bank of El Salvador purchased $50 million worth of gold, while the government of the country continues to increase its BTC holdings. Currently, the total gold holdings of the government amount to 67,403 ounces, valued at approximately $360 million at current prices; the number of bitcoins held has reached 7,547, valued at $635 million.
