Coinbase officially enters the prediction market with the launch of CoinbasePredict

According to official news, Coinbase has officially expanded its "universal application" ecosystem by publicly launching its fully integrated prediction market platform "CoinbasePredict," initially partnering with Kalshi to provide initial underlying market liquidity.

CoinbasePredict distinguishes itself from decentralized competitors by operating within a strictly regulated framework that prioritizes transparency, fund segregation, and mature market monitoring. The platform's initial contract products focus on "economic indicators," such as the probability of newly nominated Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh implementing a 50 basis point rate cut in March.
