Uniswap plans to enable protocol fees on all v3 pools and expand to eight new chains

According to The Block, Uniswap is voting on a proposal to enable protocol fees in all remaining v3 pools and to extend the fees to include eight new chains: Arbitrum, Base, Celo, OP Mainnet, Soneium, X Layer, Worldchain, and Zora.

The proposal will use a newly created tier-based fee adapter that automatically applies protocol fees to all v3 pools based on the fee tier of liquidity providers.
