A super political action committee in the cryptocurrency industry named Fellowship PAC made a high-profile announcement last September that it would raise $100 million for the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, with reports suggesting a possible connection to Tether. However, as of the latest disclosure documents from the Federal Election Commission, the committee has a reported balance of zero and has not actually raised or spent any funds. A Tether spokesperson stated this week that Tether International has no affiliation or oversight relationship with Fellowship.
