U.S. stocks closed, with the Nasdaq down 1%, and chip stocks generally declined

According to Gate's market data, U.S. stocks closed lower on Tuesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.8%, the S&P 500 index down 0.9%, and the Nasdaq down 1%. Harmony Gold (HMY.N) fell 8.5%, AMD (AMD.O), ASML (ASML.O), and TSMC all dropped about 4%, Micron Technology (MU.O) fell 8%, and Intel (INTC.O) declined 5%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index dropped 3.3%, with Alibaba (BABA.N) down nearly 5%.
