Standard Chartered appoints former head of JPMorgan's blockchain division to lead payment business

According to Bloomberg, Standard Chartered has appointed the former co-head of JPMorgan's blockchain division to lead its global payments business, continuing the modernization of its cash management system.

Naveen Mallela just stepped down as head of JPMorgan's Kinexys business last month. Standard Chartered stated in a statement on Wednesday that he will officially join on May 4 as the head of global payments.
