The three major U.S. stock indexes closed higher, with chip stocks generally rebounding

According to Gate market data, U.S. stocks closed higher on Wednesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.49%, the S&P 500 index up 0.78%, and the Nasdaq up 1.29%. Alcoa (AA.N) fell 3.5%, while Micron Technology (MU.O), Intel (INTC.O), and AMD (AMD.O) all rose over 5%, and Nvidia (NVDA.O) increased by more than 1%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index rose 0.8%, and NIO Inc. (NIO.N) was up 5%.
