Many universities in China have warned about the security risks of OpenClaw, and some have prohibited its use on campus

According to Caixin, recently, due to a high-risk security vulnerability in the open-source AI entity OpenClaw ("Lobster"), several universities, including Anhui Normal University, Jiangsu Normal University, and Zhuhai College of Science and Technology, have issued urgent notices prohibiting the installation and operation of this software on campus office equipment and network environments. Violators will be dealt with seriously.
